About Us
Rooted in Faith, Growing in Grace
New Christian Memorial Church is a Spirit-filled community committed to worship, discipleship, and serving Baltimore for the glory of God.
Our Story
Our Story
New Christian Memorial Church has been a cornerstone of faith in the Baltimore community for decades. Founded on the principles of love, service, and the transforming power of the Gospel, NCMC has grown from a small congregation into a vibrant, multi-generational church family.
Through seasons of change and challenge, our church has remained anchored in the Word of God and committed to making a lasting difference — in our neighborhoods, our city, and beyond.
Today, under the leadership of Dr. Elliott J. Rice, NCMC continues to pursue its mission with renewed vision and passion — welcoming all who seek a place to belong, grow, and be transformed by the grace of God.
Mission & Values
“Everything we do flows from our commitment to God, His Word, and the people He has called us to serve.”

What We Believe
Our faith is grounded in the timeless truths of the Christian faith.
The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God and the final authority for faith and practice.
The Trinity
We believe in one God eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Salvation
We believe salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone — His death, burial, and resurrection.
The Holy Spirit
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit who indwells, empowers, and guides every believer.
The Church
We believe the Church is the body of Christ, called to worship, fellowship, discipleship, ministry, and evangelism.
